 Geogrid is a type of Geosyntethics manufactured by connecting polymer belts in different dirrections including crosswise and diagonl . This structure has a great Tensile strength and flexiblity.

Geogrids are made of various polymers such as polyethylene, polyester and polypropylene. 

Geogrid function:

The main application of geogrid is to reinforce and stabilize soil and othe geotechnical materials. This product is used in retaining walls,rail roads 
and road subbase. Geogrid increases soil strength and stability by increasing tensile strength and pressure distribution.
